April 30 (SeeNews) - Serbia's industrial production rose by 6.9% on the year in March on the back of increased output of the manufacturing and mining sectors, the statistical office said on Wednesday. The overall March industrial output was 0.5% higher in monthly terms and 5.2% higher when compared to last year's average, the statistical office said in a data release. In annual terms, the manufacturing sector output grew 10.4% in March, mining production rose 4.7%, while the output of the utilities sector fell by 6.4%. In February, industrial production declined by an annual 1.8% and declined by a monthly 1.2%. In 2024, Serbia's industrial production increased by 3.1%.
