August 1 (SeeNews) - Serbia's industrial production rose by 2.5% on the year in June, driven mainly by higher mining output, the statistical office said. In June, the overall industrial output fell by 1.2% in monthly terms and was 2.4% higher when compared to last year's average, the statistical office said in a data release on Thursday.In annual terms, mining production increased by 15% in June, while the manufacturing sector's output advanced by 1.5%. The output of the utilities sector was up 0.5%. In May, industrial production in Serbia rose by an annual 4.4%. Serbia's industrial production rose by 3.1% in 2024.
