April 1 (SeeNews) - Serbia's industrial production declined by 1.8% on the year in February due to a slowdown in production in the manufacturing and utilities sectors, the statistical office said. The overall February output was 1.2% lower in monthly terms and 2.4% lower when compared to last year's average, the statistical office said in a statement on Monday. In annual terms, the mining sector output grew 3.1% in February while manufacturing declined 2.5% and the output of the utilities sector fell 1.1%. In January, industrial production rose by an annual 0.4% and by a monthly 0.7%. In 2024, Serbia's industrial production increased 3.1%.
