August 31 (SeeNews) - BELGRADE (Serbia), August 31 (SeeNews) – Serbian blue-chip household appliance maker Alfa plam [BEL:ALFA] turned to a net profit of 682.5 million dinars ($6.9 million/5.8 million euro) in the first half of 2021 from a 7.5 million dinars loss in the like period of last year, it said. The company's revenue went up 76.6% on the year to 3.2 billion dinars, while its operating costs grew to 2.5 billion dinars from 1.8 billion dinars, Alfa plam said in a bourse filing on Monday. Sales revenue on the domestic market grew 66.7% to 1.5 billion dinars, while sales abroad went up 90% also to 1.5 billion dinars.
