Serbia's Aerodrom Nikola Tesla net profit soars in 2023

January 30 (SeeNews) - Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO], the former operator of the international airport in Serbia's capital Belgrade, said on Tuesday that it recorded a net profit of 250.2 million dinars ($2.3 million/2.1 million euro) in 2023, compared to a net profit of 20.2 million dinars in the previous year.

Revenue rose to 1.2 billion dinars from 704.4 million dinars in 2022, while operating expenses increased to 980.3 million dinars from 883.7 million dinars, Aerodrom Nikola Tesla said in a filing to the Belgrade Stock Exchange.

In March 2018, France's Vinci Airports signed a 25-year concession contract with Serbia to take over the operation of Belgrade airport from Aerodrom Nikola Tesla.

The concession process began in December 2018, with Aerodrom Nikola Tesla's main activities mostly shifting to leasing and managing real estate, according to the company's website.
