Serbian water bottler Voda Vrnjci turns to profit in 2023

April 23 (SeeNews) - Serbian mineral water bottler Voda Vrnjci [BEL:VDAV] said it turned to a 10.8 million dinars ($100,000/93,900 euro) net profit in 2023 from a 124 million dinars loss in 2022 thanks to lower expenditure.

The company's operating revenue was flat at 1.099 billion dinars last year but operating expenditure fell to 1.087 billion dinars from 1.213 billion dinars in 2022, the company said in its annual financial report filed with the Belgrade Stock Exchange last week.

Operating profit stood at 13 million dinars in 2023, compared with an operating loss of 113 million dinars in the prior year.

Voda Vrnjci's shares did not trade on the Belgrade bourse in the past year.

The company, located in the town of Vrnjacka Banja in central Serbia, was founded in 1990. It is 100%-owned by Serbian polyethylene terephthalate packaging producer Ekstra-Pet.
