The facility will employ fifty workers in the first phase of operation, with an additional 50 to be employed by the end of the year, the Vranje local government said in a press release on Wednesday.

The Vranje factory will be the company's third production facility in Serbia, after those in Belgrade and Sopot.

Mona was founded in 1989 in Belgrade. It produces men's and women's clothing and textiles, as well as a wide range of leather goods. It currently employs 900 workers across five countries.
