Serbia to complete Bio 4 tech park in 2026

The idea is for the Bio 4 campus to be one of the ten or twelve most successful in the world, president Aleksandar Vucic said at ceremony marking the issuance of the construction permit for the tech park on Wednesday.

Earlier this year, Serbia signed a 200 million euro loan deal with the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) to help fund the construction of the campus.

Serbia began construction work on the Bio 4 tech park in May.

The Bio 4 campus will bring together the research centres of companies active in biomedicine, biotechnology, bioinformatics and biodiversity, university faculties and scientific institutes.
