November 30 (SeeNews) - Serbia’s unemployment rate stood at 10.5% in the third quarter of 2021, down by 0.6 of a percentage point compared to the previous quarter, statistical office data showed on Tuesday.
In the third quarter of 2020, Serbia's jobless rate was 9.8%, the statistical office said.
In the July-September period, the unemployment rate among men was 9.2% and among women, it was 12.0%, the data indicated.
The employment rate in Serbia increased to 50.0% in the third quarter, up from 47.8% a year earlier. In the second quarter of 2021, the employment rate was 48.3%.
