The potential investors should propose a privatisation method, an indicative price, an investment programme and a business plan, and should state the number of planned employees, the ministry said in a public invitation last week.
The documents should be sent in by March 15.
Borba's assets stood at 1.89 billion dinars ($18 million/17 million euro) at the end of 2022, down from 2.1 billion dinars a year earlier. Its capital totalled 1.71 billion dinars at the end of 2022, the ministry noted.
The government is the largest shareholder in Borba, followed by the city of Belgrade with 21.3% and Belgrade-based publishing company Novosti with 19%. The remainder is in the hands of small shareholders, data from Serbia's central registry of securities showed on Monday.
