Interest on the dinar loan is set at 2.90% plus a variable part equal to the three-month BELIBOR, according to the draft bill posted last week on the parliament's website. The loan has a grace period of three years and an 11-year maturity.

The government proposes that China's Power Construction Corporation carry out the design, procurement, and construction of the 52,000-seat stadium with a parking lot and other adjacent facilities.

Last year, Serbia borrowed a total of 22.4 billion dinars from Postanska Stedionica and UniCredit Bank for infrastructure development around the planned stadium complex.
