BELGRADE (Serbia), March 16 (SeeNews) - Serbia's government plans to introduce a ban on medicine exports for 30 days, prime minister Ana Brnabic said on Monday.

"We will ban the export of all medicines for a period of 30 days to see what quantities we need [on the domestic market]," Brnabic told a news conference broadcast live by news agency Tanjug.

On Sunday, Brnabic said the government has closed the country's borders for the entry of foreign nationals in an attempt to limit the spread of the coronavirus.

Serbia has confirmed 55 cases of the coronavirus infection so far.
