Romania's real net wage rises 7.9% y/y in April

On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage edged up by 0.5% in April, INS said in a data release.

In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage in April rose by 14.3% on the year and by 0.6% on the month, to 5217 lei ($1,132.7/1,048.2 euro).

In April, the computer programming, consultancy and related activities sector reported the highest average net wage at 11,971 lei. The lowest net average wage, of 2,787 lei, was recorded in the manufacture of apparel.
