Romania's real net wage rises 6.8% y/y in March

On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage increased by 5.9% in March, INS said in a data release.

In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage rose by 13.9% on the year in March, while adding 6.3% on the month, to 5,185 lei ($1,128.2/1,041.9 euro).

In March, the manufacture of tobacco products sector reported the highest average net wage at 13,250 lei. The lowest net average wage, of 2,779 lei, was recorded in the manufacture of apparel.
