October 25 (SeeNews) - Romanian concrete products manufacturer Prebet Aiud [BSE:PREB] said that it has secured a two-year contract worth 11.7 million euro ($12.4 million) to supply prefabricated products for railway projects to an undisclosed client.
The buyer made the advance payment on October 24 and will cover the value of the transaction using funds from Romania's National Plan for Recovery and Resilience (NPRR), Prebet Aiud said in a statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
In 2022, Prebet Aiud’s net profit edged down to 4.15 million lei ($884,240/836,280 euro) from 4.2 million lei a year earlier, the company said in a statement filed with the Bucharest bourse in March.
Prebet Aiud shares last traded 1.87% higher at 2.18 lei by 1358 CET on Wednesday on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
