The 1,000 sq m facility offers access to 16 different medical specialties, the group said in a press release.

"At the moment, we are proud to have the farthest reaching chain of medical clinics in the country, as we are present in over 25 cities, and our objective is to continue this consolidation process systematically,” said Mihai Marcu, CEO and president of MedLife Group.

MedLife currently operates in nearly 700 own and partner locations, including over 230 clinics and hyper-clinics.

Earlier this year, MedLife announced it had completed the acquisition of the OncoCard hospital in Brasov and purchased a 50% stake in NeoLife Romania’s oncology centres.

MedLife's shares traded up 1.01% at 20.1 lei/share at 1616 CET on Tuesday, on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
