January 9 (SeeNews) - Romania's unemployment rate rate remained unchanged at 4% in November compared to the previous month, the national statistical office, INS, said on Thursday, citing provisional data.
On an annual comparison basis, Romania's jobless rate was 0.1 pp lower in November, INS said in a statement.
There were 366,000 unemployed people in Romania in November, up from 365,000 in October, and lower than 374,000 in November 2018.
The jobless rate among women was 3.5% versus 4.4% among men in November 2019. The unemployment rate among adults aged between 25 and 74 was estimated at 3%. The percentage of unemployed people aged between 25 and 74 in the total number of unemployed was 69.7%.
Romania's workforce is estimated at about 9.0 million out of a population of some 19.5 million.
