May 11 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial sales rose 9.3% year-on-year in March, after growing by 11.9% in February, data from the country's statistical office, INS, showed on Friday.
All main industrial groups sales posted annual growth in March, INS said in a press release.
Sales of capital goods grew by 14%, of energy by 33.6%, of durable goods by 4.6%, of non‐durable goods by 4.6% and of intermediate goods by 2.5%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the country's industrial sales were up 14.4%, following a 0.7% increase in February. In March, sales of energy rose by 20.2% on the month. Non‐durable goods industry sales rose by 17.2%, while those of intermediate goods were up by 12.9% on the month in March. Also, durable goods industrial sales rose by 13.7%, while sales of capital goods were up by a monthly 12.9%.
In 2017, Romania's industrial sales rose by an annual 11.7%.
