July 12 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial production increased 3.6% year-on-year in May, following an annual rise of 5.7% in April, the national statistical office said on Thursday quoting seasonally and working day-adjusted figures.
Month-on-month, industrial output fell by an adjusted 0.4% in May, following a 2% growth in April, INS said in a statement.
In January-May, Romania's industrial production posted a 5.7% seasonally and working day-adjusted annual increase.
