April 1 (SeeNews) - Romanian IT&C retailer evoMAG said on Friday it has partnered up with courier service Bringo to provide 60-90 minute deliveries.
“Our partnership with Bringo falls in line with evoMAG’s strategy of improving the shopping experience to the benefit of our customers, by reducing delivery times, while also identifying new sales channels and extending our database of customers,” evoMAG CEO Mihai Patrascu said in a press release.
The partnership enables customers to order any evoMAG product using the Bringo platform, provided the ordered products do not exceed 20kg each.
evoMAG estimates that around 3% of all of its fast delivery orders will be executed within 60 to 90 minutes by the end of the year. In addition, 90% of all deliveries will be made in less than 24 hours, the retailer said.
Founded in 2005, evoMAG had a turnover of 158 million lei ($35.3 million/31.9 million euro) in 2020, according to data published by the finance ministry. It deals in IT&C products, but has also branched out in electric scooters and gardening equipment.
Bringo is a Romanian courier service founded in 2016, with an estimated turnover of 47.37 million lei in 2020, active primarily in providing swift local deliveries. Carrefour Group acquired a stake of 51% in the company in 2017.
