January 30 (SeeNews) - Romania's consolidated budget was in deficit equivalent to 8.65% of the projected gross domestic product (GDP) in 2024, widening from a 5.61% gap a year earlier, as spending increased by 19.1% to 727.32 billion lei ($152 billion/146.2 billion euro), the finance ministry said.
