May 26 (SeeNews) - Romania's consolidated budget was in deficit amounting to 23.95 billion lei ($5.32 billion/4.57 billion euro) in the first four months of 2026, nearly half the level recorded in the same period last year, when the gap reached 55.97 billion lei, the finance ministry said on Tuesday.
