November 26 (SeeNews) - Romania's competition authority said it has approved the takeover of local healthcare services provider Clinica Medical Service by Netherlands-based Morphosis Capital Fund I Cooperatief U.A.
"Following a review of the transaction, the Competition Council has found that it does not raise significant obstacles to effective competition in the market, in particular by establishing or strengthening of a dominant position," the anti-trust body said in a statement on Thursday.

By acquiring Clinica Medical Service, Morphosis will indirectly take over companies Chronos Medical Solutions, Estetica Team and Beauty SPV. All companies have as main activity surgery and cosmetic medicine, cosmetic and body treatments as well as the sale of cosmetic products.
Set up in 2018, Morphosis Capital operates in IT, services, niche healthcare services and dental care, through the companies in its portfolio.
