June 26 (SeeNews) - Romania's consolidated budget was in deficit amounting to 28.3 billion lei ($6.1 billion/5.4 billion euro) in the first five months of 2026, almost half the level recorded in the same period last year, when the gap reached 64.2 billion lei, the finance ministry said.
