BUCHAREST (Romania), July 28 (SeeNews) – The Bucharest stock indices closed mixed on Thursday amid high volatility and double turnover, bourse data showed. The blue-chip BET index of the Bucharest bourse edged up 0.02% to 5,365.91 points. The BET-FI index, which tracks the country's five regional investment funds, the SIFs, added 0.05% to 21,653.57. The composite BET-C index shed 0.1% to 3,226.01 points. The ROTX index of Romania's 15 most liquid stocks, a joint index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB [BSE:BVB], and the Vienna Stock Exchange, closed up 0.03% at 11,108.13. BVB's equity turnover doubled to 30.1 million lei ($10.2 million/7.1 million euro) from 14 million lei on Wednesday. Turnover from trading in structured products totalled some 2.0 million lei on Thursday. Blue-chip property restitution fund Proprietatea [BSE:FP] ended up 0.68% at 0.515 lei in Thursday’s largest turnover of 14.7 million lei. SIF 5 Oltenia [BSE:SIF5] lost 0.52% to 1.332 lei in the second largest turnover of 2.8 million lei. SIF 2 Moldova [BSE:SIF2] fell 1.58% to 1.186 lei in 1.2 million lei turnover, the day’s third largest. Blue-chip oil and gas group OMV Petrom [BSE:SNP] depreciated 0.13% to 0.38 lei in deals worth 929,000 lei. Blue-chip Banca Transilvania [BSE:TLV] dipped 0.67% to 1.182 lei in deals worth 670,000 lei.
