BUCHAREST (Romania), January 10 (SeeNews) – The indices of the Bucharest Stock Exchange ended mixed on Tuesday after starting the trading session in the red. The blue-chip BET index of the Bucharest bourse closed flat at 4,371.18 points on Tuesday. The BET-FI, which tracks Romania ’s five regional investment funds, the SIFs, and property restitution fund Proprietatea [BSE:FP], added 0.5% to 19,341.12 points. The composite BET-C dipped 0.38% to 2,637.29 points on Tuesday. The ROTX index of Romania 's 15 most liquid stocks, a joint index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB [BSE:BVB], and the Vienna Stock Exchange, gained 0.35% to 7,956.01 points. BVB's equity turnover rose to 7.6 million lei ($2.2 million/1.7 million euro) from 6.66 million lei on Monday. Turnover from trading in structured products totalled 2.9 million lei on Tuesday. Trading in futures generated a turnover of 1.0 million lei. Blue chip Fondul Proprietatea ended unchanged at 0.43 lei in Tuesday’s largest turnover of 2.3 million lei. Gas transmission company Transgaz [BSE:TGN] led the blue-chip gainers, climbing 2.09% to 231.85 lei in 12,000 lei turnover. Oil and gas group OMV Petrom [BSE:SNP] was the top blue-chip loser, slipping 2.12% to 0.2903 lei in 73,000 lei turnover.
