March 8 (SeeNews) - Romanian medtech startup Rayscape said it has won investment of 500,000 euro ($547,570) from Fortech Investments, a division of Romanian software development group Fortech.
The funds were awarded to Rayscape after it won 'Scale to the USA', an acceleration programme for startups held by local organisation Rubik Hub, Rayscape said in a social media post on Thursday.
Rayscape was established in 2018 and uses artificial intelligence to aid radiologists to diagnose better through in-depth analysis of medical images such as X-rays and CTs.
Fortech Investments is a Romanian private investment fund focused on healthcare, manufacturing, energy, automotive, fintech, and proptech.
Rubik Hub is an entity in the Romanian startup ecosystem that is part of the Regional Development Agency of North-East Romania, a non-profit NGO.
