August 18 (SeeNews) - Romania's leu on Monday ended at 3.5200/5240 against the euro, stronger than Friday's 3.5485/3.5525 closing, dealers said. The leu appreciated on the back of high interest rates on deposits, coupled with signals from the European Central Bank that it might not tighten its monetary policy further, while Romania's central bank, on the other hand, is expected to raise rates, one dealer told SeeNews.
