November 22 (SeeNews) - The Romanian leu on Thursday touched a 16-month low against the euro, reaching 3.5930/35 lei per euro at 0934 GMT, dealers said. Romania’s worsening macroeconomic indicators are still influencing the leu, one dealer told SeeNews. “It is possible the leu passes the 3.6 lei per euro level in the next days,” he said. The Romanian currency was last traded cheaper on July 19, 2006, at 3.5942 lei, data from the central bank showed.
