April 14 (SeeNews) - Romania had a consolidated budget deficit of 8.29 billion lei ($2.67 billion/2.01 billion euro) in the first quarter of 2009, equivalent to 1.56% of the gross domestic product (GDP) projected for the current year, private news agency Mediafax reported on Tuesday.
