Romania sells 262.5 mln euro of 1-yr T-bills, above target

July 1 (SeeNews) - Romania's finance ministry sold on Monday 1.307 billion lei ($282.5 million/262.5 million euro) worth of discount Treasury bills maturing on June 30, 2025, above target, central bank data showed.

The average accepted yield at the auction came in at 6.01%, with demand totalling 1.656 billion lei, the data indicated.

Total bids placed (mln lei) 1,655.5
Bid-to-cover ratio 1.27
Yield (%) 6.01

So far this year, Romania has sold some 64.628 billion lei of government securities.
