The average accepted yield rose to 6.87% at Monday's auction, from 6.82% achieved in the previous auction of debt paper of the same issue held last month. Demand for the government securities, which have an annual coupon of 7.2%, jumped to 1.108 billion lei from 457.9 million lei at the previous auction.
The issue will be reopened on Monday when the finance ministry hopes to raise an additional 45 million lei through a non-competitive tender.
