April 12 (SeeNews) - Romania's finance ministry on Monday rejected all bids for at a 200 million lei ($48 million/40 million euro) auction of a new issue of Treasury bonds maturing on March 24 2036, data from the country's central bank showed.
Total bids placed totaled 412.6 million lei, the data indicated.
The issue will be reopened on Tuesday when the finance ministry hopes to raise 30 million lei in a non-competitive tender.

Romania's finance ministry intends to sell 4.53 billion lei worth of government securities in April, including 525 million lei in non-competitive offers.
So far this year, the finance ministry has sold some 19 billion lei and 1.48 billion euro ($1.76 billion) worth of government bills and bonds.
