February 2 (SeeNews) - Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said on Wednesday that its after-tax profit from operations in Albania more than doubled to 29 million euro ($32.8 million) in 2021, from 12 million euro booked the year before.
Net interest income added 4.4% year-on-year to 55 million euro in 2021, while net fee and commission income increased 34.3% to 16 million euro, RBI said in an annual financial report.
Operating income totalled 75 million euro in the period under review, up 7.6% on the year, while general administrative expenses were 2.8% higher at 40 million euro.
At the same time, impairment losses on financial assets came in at a positive 6 million euro in 2021, compared with negative 10 million euro in 2020.
