September 25 (SeeNews) - A new metro station worth 50 million euro ($53.2 million) will open in District Four of Romania's capital Bucharest by November 15, the local authorities said.
The station has an area of over 15,000 sq m and tracks with a total length of 1.6 km, the city hall said in a press release on Friday. It is directly connected by an underpass to a multi-storey car park.
Bucharest's metro system comprises 63 stations along five lines. Another line which will connect the Henri Coanda International Airport in the city's north to the main train station is under development.
