N. Macedonia's Thor Impex launches Bogoslovec wind park - report

June 6 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's energy company Thor Impex launched the country's first private wind park Bogoslovec, an investment valued at 61 million euro ($66.3 million), local media reported.

The wind park has a capacity of 36 MW and can supply electricity to over 20,000 households per year, news portal MKD reported on Wednesday.

The wind power plant, whose construction began in 2021, is located near the village Bogoslovec in the Sveti Nikole municipality.

Thor Impex is majority owned by the local hydropower plants operator BNB Kompani, according to information on the official website of the project.
