July 28 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's food processing company Kristal 1923 [MSE:BGOR] said on Thursday that its non-consolidated net profit decreased to 17 million denars ($281,818 / 276,484 euro) in the first half of 2022 from 37.4 million denars in the same period of last year. Total operating revenues rose 54% on the year to 481 million denars during January-June, the company said in an interim financial statement filed with the bourse in Skopje. Revenues from domestic sales came in at 402.6 million denars in the first half of 2022, up 36% on an annual comparison basis. Sales abroad soared to 75.4 million denars from 16.2 million denars a year earlier. Total operating costs rose to 379 million denars in the period under review from 222.7 million denars in the first six months of 2021. Kristal, based in the central city of Veles, started operating in 1923 as an edible oil factory. The company operated under the name Blagoj Gjorev until 2020.
