October 31 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's food processing company Kristal 1923 [MSE:BGOR] said that its non-consolidated net profit decreased to 19.7 million denars ($316,938/319,816 euro) in the first nine months of 2022 from 75.1 million denars in the same period of last year.
Total operating revenues rose 38% year-on-year to 738.6 million denars during January-September, the company said in an interim financial statement filed with the bourse in Skopje on Friday.
Revenues from domestic sales came in at 604 million denars in the period under review, up 21% on an annual comparison basis. Sales abroad soared to 131.2 million denars from 32.9 million denars.
Total operating costs rose to 613.9 million denars in the first nine months of 2022 from 387.6 million denars in the comparable period of 2021.
Kristal, based in the central city of Veles, started operating in 1923 as an edible oil factory. The company operated under the name Blagoj Gjorev until 2020.
