Montenegro's Zetatrans to retain 2023 profit

July 2 (SeeNews) - Montenegrin transport company Zetatrans [MNG:ZETP], controlled by Slovenia's Intereuropa, said it will retain its entire 1.17 million euro net profit reported for 2023.

The decision was approved by the Zetatrans shareholders on June 27, the company said in a statement last week.

Along with last year's profit, the company will also retain its accumulated profit from previous years which totals 1.05 million euro.

Last year, Zetatrans distributed a gross dividend of 0.12 euro per share, using its entire net profit of 985,700 euro reported for 2022.

Zetatrans shares last traded on January 24, closing flat at 0.95 euro.

As of July 2, Slovenian logistics company Intereuropa controlled 69.3% of Zetatrans, Slovenian postal operator Posta Slovenije owned 10.5%, while the remainder belonged to a number of minority shareholders, Montenegro bourse data showed.

Podgorica-based Zetatrans provides complete logistics solutions in all phases of movement of goods - transportation, warehousing, customs brokerage, preparation of goods for further shipping and distribution to the final recipient in Montenegro and abroad.
