April 23 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's government has sold 74.75 million euro ($83.8 million) worth of five-year and seven-year Treasury notes on the local stock exchange on April 22 and 23, bourse data showed.
The government sold 14.5 million euro worth of five-year T-notes and 50.15 million euro of seven-year T-notes on April 22, according to data published by the Montenegro Stock Exchange.
On April 23, Montenegro sold 10.1 million euro of five-year T-notes.
Earlier this month, the government approved the issuing of five-year and seven-year Treasury notes worth a total of 190 million euro to finance budget expenditure in 2019. The issuance plan includes 140 million euro worth of five-year T-notes and a yield of 3%, as well as 50 million euro seven-year T-notes yielding 3.5%.
The government sold 213.6 million euro worth of government securities in 2018, up 2.6%.
