The acquisition, part of Medicover Group's expansion strategy, is creating a strong presence of the company in the southwestern region of Romania. "We have been studying this area for some time and we are happy to have found the right partner in the Phoenix Medical Center. This is the third acquisition of the last six months. We will continue our growth strategy, both organic and through acquisitions," Medicover Romania. general manager, Adrian Peake, said. Phoenix Medical Center is a private medical services provider in Romania's historic region of Oltenia, which owns a network of eight medical centers in Craiova, Targu Jiu, Slatina, Calafat and Dragasani.
