February 27 (SeeNews) - Slovenian port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] led the blue-chip gainers in Monday's trading session on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), bourse data showed.
The port operator closed 3.26% higher, at 28.5 euro ($30.2) in the day's largest turnover, of 681,090 euro.
On Friday the company reported an increase in its 2016 net profit to 44.4 million euro, up from 32.4 million euro a year earlier.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the LJSE, added 0.68% to 779.80 points, after edging down 0.31% on Friday.
The LJSE's total trading turnover fell to 2.18 million euro from 2.92 million euro on Friday, when trade with corporate bonds of non blue-chip steel producer STIJ contributed 1.22 million euro to the higher turnover.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] fell the most among blue chips on Monday. Its share price fell 0.39% to 51.3 euro. The pharmaceuticals producer was the company which generated the second-largest turnover on Monday, of 615,080 euro.
