The new location expands Lidl Bulgaria's network to a total of 129 stores across 56 towns and cities, the company said in a press release over the weekend. It will create 19 jobs, with the number of employees growing to 36 in the summer.
The Kavarna site has a parking lot with 115 spots, including two equipped with an electric vehicle charging station.
In February, Lidl Bulgaria said it plans to open eight to ten new stores this year, continuing its sustainable expansion.
Lidl is one of Europe's largest food retailers and operates in 31 countries. The chain entered the Bulgarian market in 2010 and currently employs over 4,000 staff.
