September 26 (SeeNews) - Austrian low fare air carrier Lauda said that it will launch flights connecting Vienna to the city of Burgas, on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, in April 2020.
Lauda will operate two flights per week on the route, the company said in a statement.
"We are proud to offer our passengers a new non-stop service from Burgas to Vienna. With our new City Shuttle routes, we will increase our destination network,” Andreas Gruber, CEO of Lauda, said.
Founded in March 2018, Lauda operates a fleet of 23 aircraft at four bases - Vienna, Stuttgart, Dusseldorf and Palma de Mallorca. The company projects it will carry over 6.5 million passengers in financial year 2020.
The Austrian airline offers flights to over 90 destinations in 29 countries.
