Kosovo's unemployment eases to 10.6% in Q3 ‘23

June 18 (SeeNews) - Kosovo's unemployment rate decreased to 10.6% in the third quarter of 2023, from 10.8% in the same period of the previous year, the country's statistical agency, ASK, said on Tuesday.

The unemployment rate during the July-September period of 2023 was 18.6% among women and 7% among men, ASK said in a labour force survey.

The jobless rate in the 15-24 years age group widened to 16.7% in the review period, from 15.1% in the third quarter of 2022.

Kosovo has a population of around 1.79 million.
