Kosovo's insurers grow GWPs 13% y/y in Jan-Oct

November 30 (SeeNews) - The gross written premiums (GWPs) of insurance companies operating in Kosovo increased 13% year-on-year to 109.6 million euro ($113.5 million) in the January-October period, central bank data showed.

The combined net profit of Kosovo insurers totalled 5.2 million euro at the end of October, down from 6.5 million euro a year earlier, according to data published by the central bank.

The assets held by Kosovo insurance companies increased to 260.7 million euro at the end of October, from 238.6 million euro at the end of 2021.
