March 27 (SeeNews) - The gross written premiums (GWPs) of insurance companies operating in Kosovo rose 11.1% year-on-year to 21.9 million euro ($23.6 million) in the first two months of the year, central bank data showed.
The combined net profit of Kosovo insurers totalled 4.3 million euro at the end of February, up from 2.6 million euro a year earlier, according to data published by the central bank on Friday.
The assets held by Kosovo insurance companies increased to 270.9 million euro at the end of February, from 266.7 million euro at the end of 2022.
