June 15 (SeeNews) - Kosovo's gross domestic product (GDP) rose by a real 3.91% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2023, after increasing by 3.55% in the previous three-month period, the statistical office, ASK, said.
Measured in current prices, Kosovo's GDP totaled 1.87 billion euro ($2 billion) in the January-March period, the Kosovo Agency of Statistics said in a statement on Thursday.
The sectors that had the biggest positive contribution to Kosovo's economic growth in the first quarter of 2023 were information and communication, scientific, professional and technical activities, administrative and support services activities, and wholesale and retail.
Kosovo's gross domestic product rose by 3.51% in 2022, after expanding by 10.75% the year before, preliminary data from ASK showed earlier.
