The bank’s loan portfolio totalled 347.6 million euro at the end of March, increasing from 287.3 million euro at end-March 2023, BPB said in a data release earlier this week.

BPB’s deposit portfolio rose to 434.4 million euro at the end of March, from 357.1 million euro a year earlier.

BPB was the seventh largest lender in terms of assets among 11 banks operating in Kosovo at the end of the first quarter, according to Kosovo Banking Association.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) owns a 10% stake in BPB. BPB shareholders also include Italy’s Banka di Cividale, Czech bank Moneta and 14 Kosovo businessmen.
