The programme provides grants to support the member countries’ advancement in the areas of high-performance computer resources, artificial intelligence, digital skills and acceleration of digital capacities and interoperability, Rizvanolli said in a social media post.
The Digital Europe Programme has a budget of 7.5 billion euro ($8.1 billion), according to its page on the European Commission’s website.
Kosovo will join the programme as soon the framework agreement gets endorsed by the country's parliament.
